About Isabel
Isabel Chiang is a Hong Kong based Portrait & Wedding Photographer.
Since she was a child, Art and Photography has always been her passion. She has worked as a fine artist & photographer in Australia and Hong Kong for over 10 years.
What sets Isabel’s Photography apart from the other photographers is her sensibility, attention to details and the ability to capture the beauty and essence of each individual, documenting the feelings and love through her camera lens. She truly believes everyone is beautiful, and her job is to capture that beauty in her photography.

Although I am a wedding and pre wedding photographer living in Hong Kong. I can travel to any part of the world.
What I like most about this profession is meeting people and discovering unusual places each time. I also have the great luck to do what I really like every day.

Think about it. If you ask an elderly person what their most precious objects are, they will show you the photographs of their loved ones,
their childhood, their youth, the birth of their children and grandchildren; and of course, those of their wedding day.
Photography is a way of travelling back in time, of making us feel always close to our loved ones and of immortalizing the most valuable emotions.
For me, it is much more than a passion: it is a way of seeing life.
I know how important your wedding day is. In order to achieve the best result it is essential that I understand who you are,
discover what makes you different and achieve a good communication, trust and complicity.
Non-intrusive, I will always be there but without breaking the magic of the moment.
MY WORKING METHOD
I do most of my work outdoors and in both natural light and artificial light. I love playing with perspectives, colors, and especially the evening light. Likewise, I use artificial lighting mostly in indoor situations, sometimes I like to use them outdoor just to create special effects.
I always try to keep my workflow simple, effective and consistent.
HOW DO I EDIT MY PHOTOS?
I edit all my photos with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Everything that I deliver and is uploaded to the web and social networks is edited by me. I use Lightroom to adjust the basic colour, brightness, white balance and contrast, and then I import them to Photoshop for further retouching such as smoothening skin texture, adjusting skin tone and body shapes.
In editing, I focus on bringing the image to life, and keep them as natural as possible. I give the photos warmth, color and contrast. I edit all the photos from the same session similarly so that they maintain a common style.
WHERE HAVE I WORKED?
I love to travel, and I can get around without a problem.
I have done wedding and pre wedding photo sessions in Japan, New Zealand, Korea, Australia, many cities in Europe such as Paris, Prague, Santorini etc.
